April 16, Mon.  LEAVE LOS ANGELES.  Depart Los Angeles Non-stop to Osaka Kansai International Airport via Japan Airlines JL69.  En route, we will cross the International Date Line, arriving in Osaka the next day.

April 17, Tues.  ARRIVE OSAKA/KANSAI AIRPORT.  

Upon arrival and after entry procedures, we will  transfer by Chartered Coach from the Airport to Hotel. 

April 18, Wed.  OSAKA.  (B)

This morning, our sightseeing will take us to Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine, Abeno Harukas, the tallest skyscraper in Japan.  Then to Kuromon (Ichiba) Market, popular street for the local residents.  Lunch can be enjoyed here on your own before walking to Dotonbori called ‘the Melting Pot of Osaka’ and Shinsai-bashi street, the traditional shopping area for a walking tour.

April 19, Thu. OSAKA-ITAMI-OKINAWA  (B)

Today we travel to Okinawa from Itami Airport on a domestic flight early to enjoy a full afternoon on Chartered Coach to explore the Northern part of Okinawa, to Churaumi Aquarium, widely known as Japan’s best aquarium with massive Kuroshio Tank, one of the largest in the world.  

April 20, Fri.  OKINAWA-NAHA  (B/L/D)

We will visit Shuri Castle and Okinawa World.  Watch the Eisa Dance Performance after buffet lunch at Churashima.  Later we will end our busy day enjoying traditional dinner and dance at the Urashima Dinner Theatre.

April 21, Sat.  OKINAWA-NAHA-FUKUOKA  (B)

This morning we fly to Fukuoka from Naha Airport.  Upon arrival at Fukuoka Airport, we will have half a day to tour by Chartered Coach stopping at Canal City for lunch and to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine before heading to Nagasaki where we will stay for the night.

April 22, Sun.  NAGASAKI – BEPPU  (B/D)

The first stop will be the famous Oura Catholic Church, and Glover Garden, then to Nagasaki ChinaTown where we will have lunch.  Drive to Beppu.  We will visit Umi jigoku (Natural Hot Spring Ponds) if time permits.   Japanese Dinner will be served at the hotel. 

April 23, Mon.  BEPPU – YAWTAHAMA – MATSUYAMA  (B/L/D)

We will take a ferry from Beppu Port to Yawatahama then to Matsuyama on Chartered Coach to catch a ropeway to Matsuyama Castle.  Then a short visit to Dogo Onsen’s Main Building.   Relax in a ‘yukata’ (Japanese casual Kimono) for dinner at the Ryokan.

April 24, Tue.  MATSUYAMA – TAKAMATSU – TOKUSHIMA   (B/L)

Full day tour by Chartered Coach for Takamatsu.  We will take part in making Udon (noodle) and enjoy the lunch we prepare.  We will visit the famous “Ritsurin Garden’ before enjoying ‘Awa Odori’, local popular folk dancing at the theatre in Tokushima.

April 25, Wed.  TOKUSHIMA – AWAJI – KYOTO  (B/L)

Today exciting full day tour is planned for you.  Naruto Uzushio Cruise, the world famous ‘whirlpool of Naruto’, and to Otsuka Museum of Art, a hidden treasure in Naruto.  Buffet lunch at the Westin Awaji and a stroll in the nearby Flower Garden.  Enjoy a scenic drive to Kyoto.

April 26, Thu.  KYOTO – BAMBOO PATH – ARASHIYAMA  (B)

Full day tour is scheduled.  First, to Heian Shrine with the beautiful Japanese garden, walk through the Sagano Bamboo Path, then to Arashiyama.  After lunch, we will proceed to Gion District to see the Maiko Performance/Tea Service at Maiko Theatre.   Later, a visit to Gekkeikan Sake Brewery, and to Fushimi Inari Shrine if time permits.

April 27, Fri.  KYOTO – FREE DAY  (B/D)

All day free for independent activities.  Farewell Dinner is arranged this evening.

April 28, Sat.  KYOTO – OSAKA KANSAI AIRPORT- LAX  (B)

Our last breakfast together.  Morning is free until we check out and meet at the lobby for our drive to Osaka Kansai International Airport.  We will board our non-stop flight back to Los Angeles.  We will re-cross the International Date Line, arriving home the same day.
