June 21, Wed. LEAVE LOS ANGELES. Leave Los Angeles aboard Japan Airlines non-stop flight to Osaka/Kansai. Cross the International Date Line losing one day which is recovered on the return flight.
June 22, Thu. ARRIVE OSAKA/KANSAI AIRPORT AND ON TO KYOTO. On arrival and after entry procedures, transfer by bus to hotel in Kyoto.
June 23, Fri. KYOTO- NARA - KYOTO. Full day sightseeing in Nara visiting Todaiji Temple (Great Buddha) and Nara Park. In Kyoto visit Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion) and Fushimi Inari Shrine. (B L)
June 24, Sat. KYOTO Free day. Optional tours are available and your guide will be available to make suggestions. Enjoy a shabu-shabu dinner in the evening. (B D)
June 25, Sun. KYOTO - HIROSHIMA. This morning, we leave Kyoto by bullet train to Hiroshima. Enjoy lunch before going on an afternoon walking tour to Peace Memorial Park and Museum. (B L)
June 26, Mon. HIROSHIMA – MIYAJIMA – HIROSHIMA. Today you will visit Kintaikyo Bridge, before going to Miyajima, one of the top three scenic spots in Japan. See the most famous giant torii gate and visit Itsukushima Shrine. After an “okonomiyaki” lunch, we will return to Hiroshima and visit Hiroshima Castle. (B L)
June 27, Tue. HIROSHIMA – HAKONE. This morning you travel by train to Hakone, a scenic hot springs resort. You will overnight in a ryokan, Japanese inn (with western rooms). (B D)
June 28, Wed. HAKONE - TOKYO. Today you will cruise on Lake Ashi, then ride an aerial cable car to Mt. Komagatake, before leaving for Tokyo by train. On arrival, you will be treated to a special teppan yaki lunch. Your afternoon sightseeing will include Imperial Palace Plaza, Asakusa Temple and the bustling Nakamise shopping arcade. (B L)
June 29, Thu. TOKYO. Free day. Your guide will be around for suggestions. Farewell dinner in the evening at the hotel. (B D)
June 30, Fri. TOKYO – LOS ANGELES. Morning free until departure for the airport at 1:00 pm to board your non -stop Japan Airlines flight back to Los Angeles. You will recross the International Date Line, arriving home the same day. (B)
