Oct. 17, Sat.  LEAVE LOS ANGELES.   We will board JAPAN AIRLINES non-stop flight to Osaka Kansai Airport.  En route, we will cross the International Date Line, arriving in Osaka the next day. 

Oct. 18, Sun.  ARRIVE OSAKA/KANSAI AIRPORT.   Upon arrival and after entry procedures, we will
stay overnight at the conveniently located airport hotel.

Oct. 19, Mon.   OSAKA – MANZA BEACH, OKINAWA. Fly to Okinawa/Naha and continue to the beautiful resort with sightseeing along the way.      (B L)

Oct. 20, Tue. MANZA BEACH - NAHA.  We will motorcoach to Naha, after visiting the northern part of Okinawa.      (B L)

Oct. 21, Wed.    NAHA.  City sightseeing after which time is allowed to visit Kokusai-dori, the largest
shopping center of Okinawa.     (B D)

Oct. 22, Thu.  NAHA – FUKUOKA.  Fly from Naha Airport to Fukuoka.  After arrival, sightseeing to
Dazaifu and Kyushu National Museum.      (B L)             

                                              
Oct. 23, Fri.   FUKUOKA – HIROSHIMA.  Our first “bullet train” ride will take us to Hiroshima. 
Afternoon sightseeing of Peace Memorial Park and the Museum.     (B L)

Oct. 24, Sat.   HIROSHIMA – MIYAJIMA.  Morning tour to Iwakuni, site of Kintai-kyo Bridge, a uniquely-shaped wooden bridge with five arches atop massive stone pillars.  Board a ferry to the islet of Miyajima,
one of the three most scenic sites of Japan, to see the Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. (B L)
               
Oct. 25, Sun.   HIROSHIMA – KYOTO.  Ride the “bullet train” to Kyoto.  Afternoon sightseeing to three important sites in Kyoto.  Shab-shab dinner in the evening.    (B D)

Oct. 26, Mon.  KYOTO.   All day free for independent activities.  An optional tour to Nara is available.  (B)
 
Oct. 27, Tue.  KYOTO – HAKONE.  Travel by train to Odawara, then by bus to our Japanese inn in Miyanoshita.  Weather permitting, take a boat ride on Lake Hakone and a cable car ride for a great view of the area.  (B-D) 

 

Oct. 28, Wed..   HAKONE - TOKYO.   By train to Tokyo and sightseeing by chartered bus to visit the
Meiji Shrine, Nijubashi, the Asakusa Temple and Nakamise shopping arcade.   (B L)

 

Oct. 29, Thu.     TOKYO – NIKKO - TOKYO.  An adventure to Nikko and its beautiful scenery of
autumn colors, and the gorgeous Toshogu Shrine.   (B L)

 

Oct 30, Fri.  TOKYO.  All day free for independent activities or last-minute shopping.  (B D)

 

Oct. 31, Sat.   HOMEWARD BOUND.      A free morning for last minute sightseeing or shopping. 
Transfer provided to Narita Airport for non-stop flight to Los Angeles.  (B)
