March 25, Thu.  LEAVE LOS ANGELES.   We will board our Japan Airlines
flight, non stop to Tokyo/Narita. En route we will cross the International Date Line, arriving in Tokyo the next day.

March 26, Fri.  ARRIVE TOKYO/NARITA.   Upon arrival and after entry procedures, we will be transferred to our hotel in Tokyo.

March 27, Sat.   TOKYO.   Morning city tour will include Asakusa Kannon Temple and the East Garden of the Imperial Palace and drive through Ginza.

March 28, Sun.   TOKYO.   Full day at leisure.  Optional tours  will be available
to you.

March 29, Mon.   TOKYO – SENDAI TO MATSUSHIMA BAY. 
We will travel by train to Sendai, the largest city in the Tohoku area, and then to Matsushima to see the famed Matsushima Bay, designated by the government as
one of Japan’s “Scenic Trio”.

March 30, Tue.   SENDAI - NIIGATA.   Today we travel to Niigata, an important seaport and the largest city on the coast of the Sea of  Japan.

March 31, Wed.   NIIGATA -   TAKAYAMA. Today we leave for Takayama, a small town that has retained much of their traditional charm and is known as “little Kyoto”.

April 1, Thu.   TAKAYAMA.   Sightseeing today includes Yatai Kaikan, to visit
the huge, beautifully decorated floats used during the Takayama Festivals;
Takayama Jinya and Kami Sannomachi Street.

April 2, Fri.  TAKAYAMA – KANAZAWA.  We will motorcoach to Kanazawa. Enroute we will visit Shirakawago Village, a UNESCO World Heritage site known
for their “praying hands” farmhouses.  On arrival in Kanazawa we will visit
Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa Castle and Nomura-ke Samurai Residences.

April 3, Sat.   KANAZAWA – AMANOHASHIDATE.  Today we will leave
for  the resort town of Amanohashidate, which means “Bridge to Heaven,” also
designated one of Japan’s “Scenic Trio.

April 4, Sun.   AMANOHASHIDATE – KYOTO.   Today we take the train to Kyoto.  On arrival we will visit three most famous sights in Kyoto:  Sanjusangendo, Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion), and Heian Shrine.

April 5, Mon.   KYOTO. Full day at leisure.

April 6, Tue.  KYOTO TO HIROSHIMA.      Today we take the bullet train to Hiroshima.  On arrival, we will visit Peace Memorial Park and Museum.

April 7, Wed.  HIROSHIMA – MIYAJIMA – HIROSHIMA. 
Today we take a short ferry ride to the small island of Miyajima, known as one of
three most scenic spots in Japan.  We will visit the Itsukushima Shrine with its
Grand Torii.  Return to Hiroshima.

April 8, Thu.  HIROSHIMA – HANEDA, NARITA  – LOS ANGELES.  
We will fly to Tokyo’s Haneda Airport then transfer by motorcoach to Narita to
board our non-stop flight back to Los Angeles.

travel on Japan Airlines.  The current economy class fare with restrictions is $1,413.10 per person taxes included (subject to change).
