Discover the Amalfi Coast, spend a day exploring Tuscany and another day visiting the Cinque Terre - a collection of five picturesque villages clinging to the Mediterranean coast. You’ll also experience, Pompeii, Rome (and the Vatican), Florence & Venice on this unforgettable tour.
Day one - overnight flight to Europe
Today you’ll board an overnight, transatlantic flight to Europe.
Day two - arrive in Naples, overnight in the region
This afternoon you’ll arrive in Naples. A short drive into the Italian countryside brings you to a tranquil hotel where a welcome dinner and a comfortable bed await! (D)
Day three - Amalfi Coast drive, Ruins at Pompeii, overnight in Rome
Rise and Shine! After a hearty breakfast at our hotel we’ll depart for a morning drive along the Amalfi Coast. You’ll enjoy lunch in (and a bit of free time to explore) the famous seaside town of Positano. This afternoon you’ll leave the coast, travelling to nearby Pompeii (Roman town destroyed by the historic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius) where you’ll visit the ruins of the city with a local guide. Later this afternoon you’ll likely enjoy a nap as we travel northward to the Roman region by motorway. Early this evening you’ll arrive in Rome where we’ve booked a hotel in a tranquil part of this bustling city. You’ll enjoy a friendly meal in a local family-run restaurant before returning to our hotel for the evening. (B, L, D)
Day four - Rome
A leisurely day exploring Rome begins with a nice breakfast at your hotel this morning. We’ll start our day at a famous Roman market at the Campo di Fiori. Later, an informal walk with your guide will bring you to many of the city’s iconic landmarks: You’ll see the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and later today you’ll visit the Colosseum as well as the legendary Roman Forum. Day five - Vatican City, drive into Tuscany, overnight in Florence
This morning you’ll visit the famous Vatican Museum with a local guide. You’ll get an overview tour of the Vatican Museum including a visit to the stunningly beautiful Raphael Rooms and the Sistine Chapel. Your tour will end in Saint Peter’s Basilica just in time for a leisurely lunch in the Trastevere district. Early this afternoon we’ll depart for Florence by motorway, arriving just in time for an informal dinner near our hotel. (B, L,D)

This tour is designed for you to get the most out of Europe in a short period of time. We’ve filled
your first few days in Europe with a lot of travel and activities, we’ve also built-in a few restful
features. Your hotels are carefully chosen to ensure you’ll feel refreshed each day from your travels.
A few days into your tour you’ll arrive in Florence where you’ll be able to unpack and unwind for a
four-night stay in a comfortable hotel.
Day six - Leisurely Florence (overnight in Florence)
A wonderful day of exploring Florence begins with a walking tour of the ancient city. You’ll see the historic Ponte Vecchio and famous Duomo Cathedral. This afternoon is free for you to enjoy at your leisure. Philippe will be on hand to help you make the most of your day. Guest can enjoy shopping, people watching or take an optional tour of either Uffizi Gallery or the Academia Museum (Michealangelo’s David). (B, D)
Day seven - regional drive in Tuscany (overnight in Florence)
This morning you’ll travel into the heart of rural Tuscany to the amazing town of Siena where you will tour
the walled-city with a local guide. You’ll enjoy lunch in a Tuscan winery where you’ll get to taste local
specialties. This afternoon you’ll have some free time in nearby Sam Gimigianno, one of Tuscany’s most famous
villages. (B,L,D)
Day eight - regional drive in Liguria (Cinque Terre National Park) (overnight in Florence)
Today you’ll travel to nearby La Spezzia where you’ll meet a local guide for a tour of the incredibly picturesque Ligurian Coast. You’ll travel along a beautiful coast to view five pretty hillside villages. You’ll have lunch in a
typical restaurant followed by a bit of free time to explore the village. You’ll village-hop along the coast by boat as well as by train before returning to Flroence early this evening (B, L, D)
Day nine - travel to Venice, overnight in Mestre
A leisurely day today as we travel northward to Venice by motorway. You’ll arrive in Mestre where your hotel,
a comfortable home-base for the next two nights is located. This evening we’ll travel to nearby Venice where
you’ll enjoy dinner followed by an evening ride in a Gondola. (B, D)
Day ten - visit Venice, overnight in Mestre
Today you’ll travel by Vaporetto (water bus) into the heart of Venice as the city awakens. You’ll enjoy a
walking tour of Venice followed by a free afternoon to shop, people watch and explore this fascinating city.
As always, Philippe will be on-hand to help you make the most of your day. Numerous activities are possible. (B, D)
Day eleven - return flights home
This morning, after brealfast, we’ll transfer to nearby Marco Polo International Airport (Venice) for our return flights home! (B)
